Challenges
A major French player in car and utility vehicle rental, the compagnie is thriving in a highly competitive market and accelerating growth through strategic acquisitions. Keen to maintain pride in belonging to its brand, the company needs to attract and retain more talent. At the same time, it is considering how to structure a comprehensive sustainabiliy approach to meet its investors and creditors’ demands.
Solution
Over 600 employees were engaged to assess existing CSR initiatives and share their expectations regarding the company’s environmental, social, and societal commitments.
Drawing on their insights, as well as on feedback from external stakeholders, a tailor-made sustainability strategy was co-created—fully aligned with the company’s business priorities and culture.

Challenges
As France’s second-largest decentralized port and owned by the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region, the Port of Sète Sud de France is a key player in logistics and an active member of a diverse port community. Strongly committed to the energy transition and environmental protection, the Port sought to extend its sustainable development policy to social and societal dimensions as part of its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.
Solution
Using Horbe’s collective intelligence tools, the Senior leadership team reviewed the Port’s current sustainability initiatives and identified the main challenges ahead. They took into account internal and etxernal stakeholders’ expectations, as well as sector best practices, both collected by Horbe.
The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan integrates ESG objectives directly into the Port’s economic and commercial priorities.

As an international trading company specialising in the supply of construction materials and steel products, Globexco is recognised by its customer partners for its ongoing commitment to providing products and services that meet high quality standards. Aware of the environmental and social issues raised by the increase in global trade, Globexco’s management wishes to involve its stakeholders in adopting more responsible practices.
Solution
In partnership with Horbe, Globexco defined its purpose while articulating its ambition to be a leader in sustainable trade and making concrete commitments to all its stakeholders—customers and end users, suppliers, logistics partners, civil society, and the environment. The company also redefined its brand identity and communication codes to reflect its new sustainability-focused vision.

Challenges
Founded in 2022, the Les Deux Rives association aims to transform a dense business district spanning Paris’s 12th and 13th arrondissements into a circular neighbourhood. Inspired by industrial symbiosis principles, its diverse members—economic players from various sectors and sizes—organised themselves into working groups to explore potential synergies. However, progress within these groups was uneven.
Solution
Les Deux Rives partnered with Horbe to take stock of identified synergies, assess and facilitate the overall industrial symbiosis approach, and provide recommendations for successful collaboration among the players involved.

Balearia, a pioneer in liquefied natural gas for Spanish maritime transport, is known for its eco-efficient “smart” ships. Recently, the company has intensified its social and societal initiatives, aiming to create value for both employees and external stakeholders.
Solution
Based on Horbe’s recommandations and support, in order to make its sustainability strategy more visible and impactful, Balearia designed a roadmap around Planet, People, and Society—fully aligned with its commercial goals. This approach showcases its dedication to decarbonising maritime transport while enhancing the well-being of teams and communities.
